Edplit Tileable Flush Buttons: Compatible with the Leading Concealed Toilet Systems

Edplit Tileable Flush Buttons: Compatible with the Leading Concealed Toilet Systems

Every Edplit flush button is built to work with the concealed toilet systems most widely used on the market. M1, M2 Pro, M4 and M5 come in compatibility versions for Geberit, Viega, TECE, Alcaplast, OLI, Jomotech, TOTO and other leading brands. M3 is made specifically for GROHE. Whichever installation is behind your wall, there is an Edplit model that fits it.

An Edplit hidden flush button is a tileable flush plate. You cover it with the same tile as the surrounding wall, so it sits flush with the wall and nearly disappears. Like any flush plate for concealed cistern systems, it replaces only the visible part. The concealed cistern and flushing mechanism behind the wall stay as they are.

One Lineup, Built for the Systems You Already Use

A concealed toilet system has two parts:

  • The installation system (frame, cistern and flushing mechanism) is hidden behind the wall and does the technical work.
  • The flush button is the only part you see and press. With Edplit, it becomes a hidden toilet flush button finished in the same tile as the wall.

Edplit designed its range around the installation systems that installers and homeowners already use. You don't need a special cistern to get a tile-integrated finish. Choose the Edplit model and the compatibility version that match your system.

Renovating a wall that's already tiled? You'll need to remove the tiles covering the installation, then take a new tile, cut it to fit the Edplit button and install it. The concealed system behind the wall stays in place.

How Edplit Models Differ

All Edplit buttons work the same way: you cut the tile to the button's shape, and the tiled piece becomes the flush button. The models differ in four ways:

  • Cut-out options: how many cut shapes the model offers for the tile.
  • Press type: how the tiled button is pressed. A top-down press works vertically, from top to bottom; a side-to-centre press works from both sides towards the centre.
  • Visible cut lines: how much of the button's outline shows on the finished wall.
  • Supported materials and thickness.

Which one is right for you?

  • Want the most minimal, near-invisible button? M4. Only the outer edge of the tile is cut, so it has the fewest visible cut lines of any Edplit model. The button blends into the wall almost completely, and the single outer cut also makes it the easiest model to install.
  • Want the most design freedom? M1 or M2 Pro, with 4 cut-out options each. Choose M1 for a top-down press, or M2 Pro for a side-to-centre press.
  • Working with natural stone or thick tiles? M5. It is built for natural stone and for ceramic and porcelain tiles of 20 mm.
  • Have a GROHE installation? M3.

Universal Models: M1, M2 Pro, M4 and M5

These four models cover the leading concealed systems in Europe and beyond. Each comes in versions for specific installation brands, so you get a precise fit, not an adapter.

Geberit

Edplit Geberit compatibility covers all four universal models: M1, M2 Pro, M4 and M5. Versions are available for the Sigma, Delta and Omega ranges. Geberit flush button compatibility depends on the range, so check whether your installation is Sigma, Delta or Omega, then select the matching version on the product page. That way you get a flush button compatible with Geberit exactly as your system is installed.

Important for Geberit Omega: on Omega installations, the flush button can be mounted either on the front of the wall or on top of the cistern. Edplit buttons for Omega are designed for front installation/access only. A top-mounted button would carry the weight of the tile, which can press the flush keys on its own.

Viega

Edplit Viega compatibility also covers all four universal models: M1, M2 Pro and M4 for tiles up to 12 mm, and M5 for natural stone and tiles of 20 mm. To confirm Viega flush button compatibility, identify your installation model and choose the corresponding version on the product page.

TECE, Alcaplast, OLI, Jomotech and TOTO

All four universal models (M1, M2 Pro, M4, M5) are available for these systems.

Vitra, Cersanit and Noken

  • Vitra and Cersanit: M2 Pro, M4, M5
  • Noken: M4

M3: Made Specifically for GROHE

GROHE concealed systems have their own design, so Edplit built a dedicated model for them. Edplit GROHE compatibility is provided by M3, designed exclusively for GROHE installations. It offers 2 cut-out options; it uses a side-to-centre press, and it accepts tiles up to 12 mm thick.

When checking GROHE flush button compatibility, keep in mind that M1, M2 Pro, M4 and M5 are not made for GROHE. M3 is the only Edplit model for these systems.

How to Choose Your Edplit Flush Button in 4 Steps

  1. Identify your installation system: the brand and exact model (for Geberit: Sigma, Delta or Omega). For Geberit Omega, Edplit buttons are installed from the front only.

  2. Using GROHE? Your model is M3. For any other brand, go to step 3.

  3. Check your wall material. Natural stone or tiles of 20 mm thick: M5. Tiles up to 12 mm: M1, M2 Pro or M4.

  4. Choose by look and installation style. M4 for the most minimal look and the simplest cut; M1 or M2 Pro for 4 cut-out options. Then select the version for your system on the product page.

Not sure which installation you have? Contact the Edplit team, and we'll confirm the right version before you order.

  1. What's the difference between M1 and M2 Pro?

M4. Only the outer edge of the tile is cut, so it has the fewest visible cut lines of any Edplit model, and the button blends into the wall almost completely.

  1. Which Edplit model is easiest to install?

M4. With a single outer-edge cut, it is the simplest model for installers to work with.

  1. Can I use an Edplit flush button with natural stone?
