Edplit has been named a German Design Award 2027 Winner in the Excellent Product Design – Bath and Wellness category. The distinction goes to two hidden, tile-integrated bathroom products: the Hidden Flush Button Edplit M4 and the Hidden Towel Holder Set Edplit.
The German Design Award is presented by the German Design Council. Both products were selected by an independent international jury in a category dedicated to bathroom and wellness products.
About the German Design Award
The German Design Award is an international design competition organized by the German Design Council, Germany's design authority founded in 1953.
The award focuses on product and communication design. Unlike the ICONIC AWARDS – the Council's interdisciplinary competition centered on architecture and interiors – the German Design Award evaluates products in specialized categories, from furniture and lighting to bath and wellness.
- Independent jury. Entries are assessed by an international jury of experts from design, industry and academia.
- Excellent Product Design. The category recognizes products that combine design quality, functionality and innovation.
- Levels of distinction. The jury awards the distinctions Winner and Gold.

Hidden Flush Button Edplit M4
The M4 is a fully concealed, frameless flush button that sits flush with the tile surface. There is no visible plate on the wall. The flush is activated by a gentle press through the tile itself.

The set integrates hidden hooks directly into tiled walls. When not in use, they stay almost invisible. When needed, they hold towels and bathrobes securely.
