The Edplit M4 concealed flush button is designed for minimalist modern interiors with concealed installation behind wall tiles.

The kit includes a mounting frame, a tool for adjusting the position of the button, a hook for safely removing the tile insert and a precision adhesive cutting template

To create the tile insert, use the included adhesive template to mark the cut-out precisely. The insert will become the visible flush button, so accurate cutting is essential.

Recommended tools:

Tile engraver: Standard rotary engraver, milling cutter, or the recommended Edplit Tile Engraver ensures precise and clean cuts suitable for ceramics, porcelain, and stone.
Waterjet cutting: Provides highly accurate and smooth cutting. Ideal for projects with premium tiles or natural stone. (If you plan to use waterjet cutting, please contact our manager and we will provide you with the cutting files.)
Glue: PU glue

The system is compatible with:

Ceramic tiles up to 12 mm
Porcelain tiles up to 12 mm

Edplit Hidden Flush Button system is fully adjustable to fit various project needs:

• Supports tile thickness up to 12 mm
• Frame and push rods can be adjusted without special tools
• Button position and sensitivity can be fine-tuned after tile installation
• Quick and simple calibration via the button opening

Please note that the button cannot be turned over and installed vertically.
For all concealed buttons, double cladding with moisture-resistant plasterboard under the tiles is recommended, as it provides the necessary structural rigidity, prevents the cladding from sagging, and guarantees reliable operation of the flushing mechanism.

To replace an existing flush plate (for example, Geberit) with an EDPLIT flush plate, two flush button cutting templates are required. First, the existing flush plate is dismantled, providing access to the already installed wall tile. Then, the first flush button cutting template is used — it is needed to accurately transfer the markings onto the existing tile. Based on these markings, an opening is cut into the tile, into which the concealed EDPLIT mechanism will be installed.

After that, a small insert tile is taken, which will later function as the visible flush plate. To prepare it, the second flush button cutting template is used: it allows the tile to be precisely cut and adjusted to the button mechanism so that it works correctly while also appearing as part of a seamless surface.

Thus, the first flush button cutting template is used for working with the existing wall tile, while the second is used for preparing the new insert tile that becomes the visible part of the EDPLIT button.
